Fixed Ducted Fume Cupboards
The InterFocus fume cupboards range has been designed for use in Schools and Colleges to ensure high levels of protection for both students and teachers from the fumes associated with typical GCSE and A Level curriculum activities.
Why choose fixed extraction
With a fixed solution, the fume cupboard is fixed into position within the lab environment and is extracted to outside atmosphere using PVC ductwork alongside a remote fan unit. This ensures that all harmful fumes are extracted away from the work area in an efficient and safe manor.
A fixed solution provides high levels of extraction in the work area and so enables a much wider range of chemicals to be used. A fixed fume cupboards also avoids the need to replace filters which lowers the annual running costs when compared to a mobile fume cupboard solution.

The mobile fume cupboard range has been designed for use in Schools and Colleges to provide convenient protection in a mobile solution for both students and teachers from the fumes associated with GCSE and A Level curriculum activities.
Our mobile fume cupboards have high visibility all around making the unit ideal for classroom demonstrations.
Designed to fit through standard doorways, the mobile fume cupboard offers the convenience of sharing it among classrooms by installing docking stations within each classroom.
Each mobile fume cupboard incorporates an easy to change carbon filter designed to remove fumes associated with a range of chemicals used in a typical school classroom as recommended by CLEAPSS.
